Lucky Pen

A large livery and stable owned by a bearfolk named Joratthei. This stable was built on the bones of the very first livery in Kipburn, nearly 640 years ago. Back then it was small and housed the horses caught and traded by Halfies and the wild boar, pheasants, and geese not quite domesticated in Vaeruin.

Today, Joratthei has their hands full with mounts and animals that supply Kipburn with domestic meats, eggs, and dairy. They also oversee the breeding of large draft horses suited for bearfolk, and other large mounts such as dire bears and dire elk.

The Lucky Pen also does their own saddlework and leatherworking, all marked with their symbol: a rune that was said to have been given by the God himself, "LP".

The livery and stable employs about a hundred folks in various positions: stable handlers, butchers, mount trainers, egg and milk gatherers, carriage drivers, and so on.
