When the consort of one of the Tetrarchs of Kangambe becomes too ambitious, the other three Tetrarchs kill them both. Hideous fates soon befall the remaining three.

A mysterious wave of nightmares and fitful sleep overtakes one of the Jewel Cities, but is dispelled by a traveling stone giantess warrior, who becomes known as the Anvil of Dreams.
