Wet Nest

A climatic and glaciological subregion of the southern hemisphere's Vulture's Nest Mountains, it is one of two eastern Audoya subregions, along with Dry Nest. The Wet Nest runs From Audoya's easternmost point to the mid-southern shore. The Wet Nest begins with the disappearance of penitentes, snow formations located as far east as Mount Niaboro. Unlike the Dry Nest, the Wet Nest lacks rock glaciers. Due to the huge amount of summer precipitation, the low thermal oscillations, and the overall high moisture content of the Wet Nest glaciers, Wet Nest glaciers have a far more stable equilibrium line than Dry Nest glaciers.
