Wintergonie

Wintergonie is a small island located north of the larger Island of Bute, near the western end of the Neck of Bute. It is approximately two and a half miles in length and reaches an elevation of 200 feet. Ridges run the length of the island's center, from west to east. Forested areas surround the island's west and east sides, which also feature sea caves at the island's eastern and western ends, as well as two tiny lakes in the interior.
The island is governed by the Duchy of Bute. The island's west coast is flanked by a small reef of drying rocks.
In recent years, Wrathsea has used the island as a temporary prison camp for petty offenses such as public intoxication and petty theft, as well as burglary and assault against town guards.
