Astral Void

The Astral Void is the deepest and farthest region of the Astral Plane where not even the native creatures are willing to travel. The common belief is that anything or anyone that travels to this region never return though the cause behind this phenomena is not known at this time. Most who have travelled close to this region has stated it still functions like the rest of the Astral Plane except for the fact that if you do cross the threshold for about a minute, your physical body becomes drug into the realm making all the harder to actually leave the Astral Plane. Movement is halved due to the weight that one feels on their form and counts as difficult terrain for the purposes of travel.

What has been discovered through years of research and expeditions is that all of the known Blight Zones in Valnoagawa link to the Astral Void. It is further believed that the Blight itself comes from the most deepest recesses of the realm and has slowly diffused itself itself through all of the realms since the GodFall occurred. Some have attempted to try and remove the Blight and the connection it has through the region of the realm, but have only ever succeeded in causing more damage and expanding the Blight Zones at random.
