The actual rock that it forms from is unknown due to the entire seam of stone being transformed upon contact with the energies from the plane. Whenever some is found, it is quarried up as soon as possible. The many variants are useful in enchanting, magic formulae, and around the household that drives up the price for the stone itself. The amount of stone in Valnoagawa is unknown as it is found all over but there is no way to track where it might appear effectively or what stone deposits even make it possible. Once all the energy has been drained from it, the stone itself crumbles to ash & dust. Most deposits of Magna Stone are found to have roughly five hundred pounds to one ton worth of reachable stone. The most common size that it is quarried/mined to is a piece that is roughly one foot long, six inches tall, & six inches wide weighing about 10 pounds.
