Gilligan and the Kidnappings in Little Ferry

Following the advice of Tyrubeli Gilligan met up with the Fate Bound on the way to Little Ferry. He showed himself to be quick witted and a bit obnoxious, but they learned to respect his abilities nonetheless. During the investigation he learned that sometimes his mouth could get him in trouble and other times it could save him and his friends. He also learned that he could make friends again, something he thought he would never be able to do after what had happened with his bardic troupe.   During the two weeks in Little Ferry, Gilligan spent as much time as possible with Merry's Merry Minstrels in the The River's Rest. Initially, Merry wanted nothing to do with him, but Gilligan was able to win her over. She and her minstrel's enjoyed their time with Gilligan teaching him to be charming and also how to be a better lute player. He also worked with Shayne on both acting and using the disguise kit.   Merry also confided in Gilligan that she was looking for a legendary magical lute. She did not even know if it was real or just a legend. It was said to have been lost in the wild lands north of Little Ferry, but more than that she did not know.   When not spending time with the minstrels, Gilligan became closer with Tenzin and opened up to him about losing his friends from his bardic group. Gilligan did not want history to repeat itself. Gilligan reassured Tenzin that he would not speak of his mark until he had permission.   His thoughts were also drawn back to what Tyrubeli had said to him when she gave him the Wheel card upside down:   "You are incomplete and unfulfilled, you must break the cycle."   It made him think of his friend Burrin Goldstone and what had become of him. Try as he might, he could not find out anything about his whereabouts. Perhaps finding him would turn his world right side up.
