Quanee
Background
Quanee was born into a small tribe of owlin in the forest outside of Stonehelm. From a young age, he showed an aptitude for hunting and survival. As he grew older, he honed his skills and became a formidable ranger, known for his ability to track prey and his keen sense of observation. Despite his skills, Quanee often felt out of place among his own kind. He was always more curious about the world beyond the forest, and he felt drawn to explore the vast lands beyond his tribe's territory. Eventually, his restlessness led him to leave his tribe and strike out on his own. After wandering for a time, Quanee came across Grubaa and Raimundo in the slums of Stonehelm. Despite their rough exterior, he saw something in them that he recognized from his own tribe: a fierce sense of loyalty to each other. Quanee quickly became a valuable member of their group, using his tracking and survival skills to help them evade the authorities and stay one step ahead of the law. As the group's resident ranger, Quanee was responsible for scouting out new targets and making sure they had the supplies they needed to survive in the wilderness. Despite his solitary nature, he found himself growing to care for Grubaa and Raimundo like they were his own kin. Though they were a rough-and-tumble bunch, Quanee saw that they shared his own sense of honor and loyalty, and he was proud to call them his friends.Guild Interactions
Quanee was briefly met during Expedition 13a - Slumming it up in the Big City when the Cartographers (Felix, Gnaa, & Pitter-Patter) infiltrated the poacher's hideout and Tomves Rimvera introduced them to the members located there. He was later spotted speaking with, and recieving a bag from Folmer Leoran during Expedition 16b - A Hasty Retreat. Quanee thought he spotted the Cartographers (Eduardo "Eddo" Jeron, Kneel, Ramsey, & Thaddeus Maximus) as they shoved one of the poachers off the cliff near a waterfall overlooking the camp. Upon investigating the clifftop he found Kitty v1 growling in his face while the Guild members were hidden in the nearby brush. He released a single arrow from his longbow and put Kitty v1 down in a single brutal headshot. The party attempted to engage him, giving their position away to the rest of the camp. Quanee was gravely injured but able to fly away with the dufflebag still strapped to his chest as the rest of the poachers begun to climb up the cliffside towards the Cartographers.
