Apostheos

The Apostheos are the Mage-Hunters in the employ of the Academyin Zagrean. They are skilled spies and assassins, with unique magical tricks gifted by the schools. Their primary role is the continued enforcement of Zagrean's magical monopoly, usualy by using the brutal application of force. They answer directly to the Council of Eight. Other nations may balk at the Apostheos operating within their borders, but the skilled agents rarely leave evidence of their activity, even if everyone can tell who was involved.
