Ignin
Ignin Greathammer is the leader of one of the Durenden. His tribe, once master forgers within Khan Bannun were forced to flee when the cataclysm laid it to waste. Since then his tribe is known as 'Durenden' or 'lost' in the common tongue, meaning dwarf without a home. The tribe has wandered from the safety of Khan Zorvak, the last dwarvish stronghold, determined to find their way and came to the Flametip mountains. They learnt much there, though the perilous state of the mountains were harsh and the clan had to become hardy as they learnt to smelt and forge with the embers of the fire planes themselves. During that time a invasion of dark creatures threatened to swarm their village and only through the help of Talkoris Enan Silnor Sallab and Sephina Arnun who responded to calls for aid from nearby kingdoms did they survive. Talkoris and Sephina built a bond with Ignin and his brethren, hoping to gain more allies for Sabal and themselves. As of 2497PC the Greathammer clan has been aiding the Iron Gnomes in their battle for ownership of the fractured duregar city of Dhun Kenil. Their expertise in forge-craft and artificing has been invaluable and may even be the leg up the Iron Gnomes need to gain control of the city, that is unless one of the other factions turns to darker means.
Goals:
- To find a place for his clan to settle.
- To pay back his honour debt to Talkoris Enan Silnor Sallab and Sephina Arnun for their aid in protecting his village.
- To assist the Iron Gnomes in taking the city of Dhun Kenil.
Relationships
History
They met when Talkoris assisted him in ridding his village of dark creatures. Since then they have been friends and come to each others aid on several occasions. They both consider the other men of honour and Ignin has sworn himself to be Talkoris' shieldbearer (right hand protector) when he is called upon to do so.
History
Sephina helped Talkoris rid Ignin's village of evil and in doing so has proven herself a valuable ally. Where Ignin does not necessarily condone the actions of Sephina in subtlety and subterfuge he appreciates the need for them and that her spirit is noble in their use. Ignin likes Sephina and she likes him, they are good friends and would help each other without much coaxing.
