Sephina Arnun
A girl born to an minor noble family in Sab Adul , she loved to sneak out and run the gauntlet of tightly packed houses and narrow streets to reach the base of the some of the greater conduction rods and feel the magic of the storms roll in. She'd wait until the last moments before darting for cover and narrowly avoided being swept away by the titanic winds several times. Her parents deplored this practise and what it might tell of their house should she be caught. They decided to send her to The Emperors court to learn from the best, and managed to get her a space amongst the retinue of Saranata Delo Sallab, the tenth daughter of the Emperor.
At the age of thirteen she set off with her family's guard to Sab Dubar , finding wonder in the open desert and its endless dunes. Her duties for Saranata involved passing messages, and secret communiques to her allies, but when it was found that she had a knack for getting in and out of places unnoticed as well as moving silently, Saranata put her skills to better use. She had her trained in more subtle arts, including thievery, subterfuge and infiltration. During this time she worked diligently, enjoying her secret life for Saranata behind the glamour of court.
By the age of sixteen she had become a great asset to Saranata and was often given more of her discrete assignments. It was around this time she met Talkoris Enan Silnor Sallab, one of Saranata's younger brothers. The two became fast friends and regularly began sparring in the training yard. She was drawn to his calm demeanour and vision for Sabal, and the two soon found themselves in each others company more often than not.
By the age of eighteen Sephina had solidified herself in Saranata's inner circle as well as become a close friend of Talkoris. Though not long after her coming of age, a messenger arrived in Sab Dubar, telling her of the death of her parents. Sephina rushed home to handle the estate and all their deaths entailed. Though what she learned there drove her to rage, for her parents had been killed by an intruder. Sephina used what skills she had learned to investigate and found clues pointing to an assassin.
Further investigation came up against all sorts of red-tape and she took the matter into her own hands, stepping into the night and tracking down her parents killer. She soon found her and in a rooftop battle that nearly left her dead, managed to best the assassin. What she found after was strings connecting her to a secret organisation. She sent Saranata and Talkoris coded communiqués to discover what she could of this organisation and finally learnt of 'The Purple Dagger '.
Her attempts to infiltrate the organisation and learn more of the motive behind her parents death failed and she was discovered and brought before the 'Archblade' Vemi Serrata. Impressed by her victory over a well known mercenary agent he offered her a place amongst them and information about her parents killing. She took the offer and quickly began rising the ranks as she learnt the ways of the Purple Dagger. After a dozen years she reached the rank of 'Shadow' or second in the organisation.
As for what really happened to her parents, it is still under investigation. She knows that a contract was posted for contracted assassins, a prime reason for her goal of wanting to remove that aspect of Purple Dagger culture, but the biggest question is who. So far, her investigations have narrowed it down to someone in The Emperor's court in Sab Dubar. Was it one she acted against in Saranata's employment? Or one that merely wished an agent of a rival sibling removed. Such a harsh act for so trivial a thing, but such are the games of The Emperors' court.
Relationships
History
Crossing paths several times in Sab Dubar both agents working the streets and in the Emperor's court. Agents of rival factions they have a professional politeness and respect for one another, but nothing beyond that. Sephina is more wary of Ezeheli than the other way round, feeling he has dangerous motives after seeing him in the company of Galenten several times.

Becoming fast friends at a young age within the court of Sab Dubar, these two can rely on each other to always support and be there for their friend, even if the dangers far outweigh the benefits. In recent, years with their important appointments in organisations and government they have less time to spend together but often provide vital information to each other and work towards the same goal. The betterment of Sabal in the eyes of the world.
History
Sephina helped Talkoris rid Ignin's village of evil and in doing so has proven herself a valuable ally. Where Ignin does not necessarily condone the actions of Sephina in subtlety and subterfuge he appreciates the need for them and that her spirit is noble in their use. Ignin likes Sephina and she likes him, they are good friends and would help each other without much coaxing.
