Cerean Forest (​"Sir-EE-en"​)

The woods here rise up steep slopes to plateaus covered in trees to more slopes and plateaus all the way to the Storm Range. They are both a beautiful woods with strong trees and picturesque glades, as well as a dangerous forest where travellers must be cautious.
The Cerean forest is one of the largest forests in Verenn and is a huge resource of lumber for Navarre and surrounding kingdoms. The Key River cuts through the middle of the forest and provides travel up and down its winding flow. At the start of the Key River at the mountains, there are several logging and mining camps that send their resources down the river to Tabonry and Mearscon.

While several small towns have grown around the Cerean forest, it is still far from safe. Goblins and orcs known to attack loggers and villages from time to time. Traveling in groups is always recommended, especially going from Shepherd's Dell to Edlan Home.
Druids once cared for these woods for many decades, growing the trees and enriching the land, but druids have not been seen here in some time.
