Thazorak

The Thazorak are one of the two main subspecies of the race collectively known as Ratfolk. The Thazorak are those who were pushed into the furthest depths of the underdark and exposed to the magical substance known as weavestone which over the course of a century corrupted them both body and mind. After spending centuries in proximity of the stone the Thazorak have become warped by its power and covet it as a valuable resource above all others. The substance has caused them to become extremely resilient to disease, increase their reproduction rates, and increase their intelligence, however it also gave them a complete disregard for any life other than their own and caused most of the females born to become horribly mutated and become nothing more than bloated breeding machines to pump out more of their vile kin.
