General Summary

Sen's Help and Other Matters

• Harold and Alton inquired about poison for vampires, or methods to nullify vampires' powers. Unfortunately, Sen did not have anything on hand.
• Sen gifted Harold a golden sunburst necklace. It was not magical.
• Alton asked Sen, in common so as to not let Wyn hear, whether if he injected himself with girden root poison if it would kill a vampire who bit him.
• Gim seemed unwelcoming of working with Fernando, claiming the skeleton "could not keep up with the king" though it seemed Gim was feeling slightly insecure.
• Harold asked Gim if he could take up enchanting to assist with the crafting of something. Gim agreed to look into it.
• Harold gifted boxholder the skull from a barbequed dino.
• Rust seemed to be speaking coherently.
• Sen claimed that Lys, when he had last met him, had not been evil though there was darkness in his past he might not with to discuss.

Krumbleton has a Visitor

• A winged woman named Atha requested permission to board the ship to speak with Krumbleton.
• The captain granted this only after noting she was a celestial
• Alton later noticed 2 other Valkyries lurking about the ethereal plane. They assured him not to worry, no one had died yet.
• Alton also received no help from Dainard.

The Little Girl Tries To Sneak on Again

• The party prepared to depart but quickly noticed the Wyn was nowhere to be found.
• Wyn's bird gave her away, and helped Farren find her.
• She objected to leaving, claiming she would have been so quiet that no one would have known she was there.
• Wyn thanked Rust for being such a great listener, apologized to Farren for causing trouble, handed Harold a paper covered in scribbles and asked Alton if he could promise not only to bring her brother back but come back himself. Alton promised.
• Wyn asked Alton to squat back down because he was too tall, cast a mumbled spell on him, and handed him her amulet with the insignia of house Lyvaenar on it and ran off. She seems to have lent Alton her familiar, Vaena.
• The bird expressed that she was against this arrangement.

Journey to Lys

• Rust used the Key of Worlds to teleport the ship back to the Halls of Thor and Milor
• The fire elemental in the engine went temporarily dormant during this process.
• The ship sailed to Sia's Folly at maximum speed.
• The trip was largely uneventful, the crew chasing off any trouble with the ship's weapons.
• The ship sailed over a bioluminescent wood that gradually diminished, over giant ruins, and finally over an elven ruin.

Lys

• Leading to the least destroyed building in town, a tower with two intact floors and two crumbling floors with a cage on top were a series of "Keep Out" signs which the party largely ignored.
• The party attempted to knock, but Lys ignored them so they eventually walked into his library where he sat on a chair and was rather rude to them.
• The party annoyed Lys enough, and persuaded enough, so that he gave what information he knew of Myviira and Haryk's Retreat, even offering a map of one of the buildings.
• Harold annoyed him enough to receive a couple scrolls.
• Farren borrowed a book from his library.
• Alton offered his blood but Lys rejected this proposal.
• Lys claimed to never have been a part of the company,
• Lys identified himself as the one who had sealed not only Qivrin but also Kayelin.
• The party also received two scrolls of mystic aura from Lys after asking nicely.
• Lys was not persuaded to join the party in their raid.
• Sensing Lys was finding it difficult to resist his vampiric urges, the party departed.

Myviira

• Cole Raymond is apparently the recognized leader of the vampires in Haryk's Retreat. He is reportedly the last of the original Lords of Castle Raymond and a different type of vampire than Myviira.
• Raymond's forces are loyal out of gratitude or tradition. Myviira's are mostly mind controlled with some exceptions.
• One of Myviira's daughters, Nedyanna, had reportedly populated the "gardens" to the north and west of Haryk's Retreat with all manner of creatures turned to vampires "from the smallest spider to the largest dragon"
• Myviira reportedly liked Nedyanna but possibly was less fond of her other daughter.
• Myviira reportedly had some magic item granting her a resistance to radiant damage.
• Myviira possibly also cannot be staked as rumour states she has no heart.
• Myviira has eyes in the magically dark corners of the compound.
• There is a pit that goes all the way beneath the island.
• There are sometimes living snacks available.
• Myviira has magic and can cast up to 8th level spells, though her vampiric Dominate Soul spell counts as 9th level.

Back to the Ship, Alton thinks of Home

• Donnie was given the scroll of mystic aura to learn, as she was apparently the only one who could do so. As she hadn't done anything of the sort since college, she asked from Fernando and Alton's help to do this.
• Rust, after calling and calling for earth elementals found one called "mudslide" who agreed to come make and break tunnels for the party.
• Alton mused that they could travel across the worlds and perhaps hire some help from his "friends" from his homeland in menzoberranzan in Faerun, referring to bargain dartgang.
• Alton's familiar mused that they had enough money to pay them. Alton questioned how she knew he was talking about mercenaries to which she sarcastically replied that she had gotten lucky guessing mercenaries instead of generous kind hearted heroes of the underdark.
• Alton assumed she was a fiend.
• When Alton mentioned he would have to go back some time, the bird asked why.
• The bird expressed that she was out of the loop and seemed surprised to learn about Alton's plans to save his brother.
• Farren later revealed that the bird was actually a celestial, not a fiend. She was just snarky.
• Fernando pointed out that an item from the Sapphire Island could help them teleport there directly, and lamented that he had no sapphires - they had all been turned to rubies.

Back to Lys

• The party sent Rust back to Lys alone to ask if he had anything that would let them reliably teleport to the Sapphire Island.
• Rust brought the portrait of Luthias and a cookie cookie that emitted an image of the sun, in case he missed it.
• Lys noted that the painting was Sen's work, and wondered aloud if he should tell him that "he was alive".
• Lys claimed that at the beginning of Vyaelian there was no sun, nor moon, nor star at all. While he was not there at the beginning of that, he had never actually seen the sun.
• Lys gave Rust his memories of the Sapphire Island.

Onwards

• The party planned to jump straight to the sapphire island as soon as the key was recharged (total of 6 days, 2 remaining)
