General Summary
They chose violence
- Beau attempted to convince some of the storm giants guarding the south crystal that they needed help at the western crystal. They seemed to believe her story, but did not divide their forces as they were also hard pressed.
- Beau got into position.
- Alton snuck behind an anemone and prepared to fire on the crystal.
- The rest of the party prepared to drink potions of giant enlargement. Harold asked Farren to throw him in, as a purple crystal.
- Shots were fired and chaos errupted.
- When attacked, the crytsal produced random spell effects.
- When spells were cast in it's vicinity, random magical effects would go off.
- Giant purple lianyte Harold in the vicinity complicated matters.
- At one pont the crystal turned into a potted plant but the circle did not destabilize - it tried to center itself on Harold.
- Harold's magic went haywire.
- Eventually the crystal was properly destroyed.
- Harold and Beau were almsot trapped in the draining circle, which tried to pull them back constantly, until it imploded.
- Farren encountered a friendly elemental with a shadow who sped him along and then helped speed him back.
- The party took out many storm giants. Some fled. Some were torn apart by elementals who were now free of their forced service in the barrier.
- The party barely managed to escape to the greenhouse, thanks to Beau's magical talents and a tomato.
