Council of Astronomers

The Council of Astronomers is a large coalition of scholars, spellcasters, and priests from all of the nations of Vylderaine that gather in Carthacht to discuss the history and future of Vylderaine. They were founded during The Age of Enlightenment at the start of The Written Age as soon as the people of Vylderaine were gifted a shared language by Carthordian - Eternal Scholar / Father of Language and Sinavāḍu - The Overseer / All Knowing. The main thing the group is known for is the naming of each age. When they are not discussing the major events of the times in order to name the current or next age, they look to the moons, the stars, and any other form of divinatory magic they may have to try and predict the future and help guide the world towards prosperity. The group is considered politically neutral and has stayed as impartial observers through all of the world's conflicts throughout the entirety of the Written Age.
