The Fall of Ramilsahar
After the appearance of the djinni city of Aljini-Eajib - The Wondrous City of the Djinn during The Unwritten Age in the Tharwazan Desert. The desert elves of Ramilsahar were at first overjoyed. The elves were already the most magically powerful civilization in Vylderaine after their discovery of arcane magic (see The History of Arcane Magic) and with the potential to learn the magic of the djinni they could become even more powerful. The djinni and elementals of Aljini-Eajib did begin teaching primal magic to the elves of Ramilsahar as well as anyone else they deemed worthy (see The History of Primal Magic) but the elves quickly became disillusioned by the cities presence to the south.
It was quickly becoming apparent to Ramilsahar as well as the only powers of Vylderaine that knew of its existance, that Aljini-Eajib was the new magical superpower of the world, not Ramilsahar. Because of this the elves tried to take some of their influence back. They tried to take advantage of the djinni and learn more and more of their primal magic, magic the djinni were not willilng to share. This tension eventually came to a head when the elves of Ramilsahar declared war on the djinni city. The fighting between arcane and primal forces lasted for years, no one knows quite how long, but in the aftermath, the civilization of Ramilsahar was in ruin and Aljini-Eajib had disappeared.
