The History of Primal Magic
Primal Magic was introduced to the Material Plane by two main forces. The first was the djinni and elementals of Aljini-Eajib - The Wondrous City of the Djinn after the city first appeared in the Tharwazan Desert during The Unwritten Age. The other force was a combination of nature spirits and fey from the First World that granted primal magic to the plane in order to help sew some more chaos and make the Material Plane a little bit more like the First World. At first the only mortal practitioners of primal magic were the spellcasters of Aşkentilar who found Aljini-Eajib, and druids who regularly communed with spirits of nature and the fey. But soon after a few mortals knew how to cast primal magic by tapping into the elemental planes and/or the First World, the practice rapidly spread until it became as popular as it is now.
