Iron of will, of heart and of sword arm, Ababakar Octoflea and his barbarian army will imminently bring the False Sultans of Typha to their knees and enact upon them the cruelest of punishments: be forged into weapons of Justice—something they so perverted over their five-century-long rule—and made to clean up their mess. Already there is a glimmer of divinity in his battle-mad eyes, and his closest allies seem to be taking on the characteristics of clerics and warpriests.

The Exile King is an Etiainen: a broken league of planar nomads, created by an ancient Sphinxian ritual granting them not only immortality but complete resistance to both positive and negative energy. Due to a second ritual to maintain their sanity, they also lose their memories every few centuries; as such, Octoflea's current "persona" is in its twilight. He realizes this, which only further hurries his agenda.

Ababakar Octoflea was born a Catfolk on the distant plane of Tassalit (origin of the Etiainen Ritual). He is a barbarian of immense power and influence, currently poised to wrest control of the city-state of Typha in his conquest to punish the entire Federated Sultanates of Khayyam for the persecution of his adopted people, known as the Kasshyk.

The Victorious's alignment is True Neutral.

Octoflea is a tall, powerfully built catfolk whose fighting style favours freedom over heavy armour. He carries the many scars and patient demeanour of his ancient age, typical of Etiainen. As catfolk are not a race native to Waking Materia, he is mostly assumed to be Wildling Aspected with leonine traits, possibly human or arakh by birth.

Worship

Newly ascending, Ababakar Octoflea's clergy is restricted to the "true believers" of his innermost circle, though word of his insurgency's deeds is slowly spreading over the sand-seas of Khayyam and inspiring further heroics, much the same way previous ascendants found their way into the wider Material Pantheon. He is likely the most recent ascendant demigod to emerge on Waking Materia after Little Grandma and the now-deceased Olcadan of Dhund.

Ababakar Octoflea's primary Domain is Might. His secondary domains are Cities, Pain, Sorrow, Protection, Zeal and Destruction.

Favoured Weapon

The Exile King's favoured weapon is the spatha & shield. His Relic spatha is named Braven Tooth. His Relic shield is named Clarion.

History

Octoflea briefly joined the ranks of Tallari's elite paramilitary, Dragon Knights of Tallarax, to aid them in defeating the Duskscape Regent of Apocalypses, Elir-Otrinax, during the First Dragon Wars of Materia's Upper Middle First Age. Once Otrinax was defeated and sealed away beneath Oloraan, the Barbarian Lord immediately resigned from the order, and remains the only known member in history to have done so.
