Eridún

Eridún is a Genesis Plane and the core of the most populated group of planes in the Known Universe, collectively known as the Eridún Crux. Once called Virsalis in auld lang syne, it is arguably the most influential plane in the universe's development, througout much of its history. It is believed to be the Genesis Plane of all Humanoid life, based on petroglyphs Daybreak imperial scholars believe to be well over 50 000 years old. Eridún has been the seat of at least two great multi-planar empires: the early Meta-Virsalis Empire and the contemporary Daybreak Empire.

The Vortices of Light & Dark

Eridún has two smaller planes locked to it, forming a triplanar system. These two planes are locally known as the Vortex of Light (Anima dominant) and Vortex of Darkness (Mordia dominant). These two planes maintain tide pools of Quintessence, allowing them to create outsiders. Some scholars believe that these two planes are artificial, having been created at some zenith of power and scholarship in the ancient Meta-Virsalis Empire.
