Genesis Plane

Genesis Plane is the general term for a plane with the earliest signs of a particular species, or sometimes culture, in the Tower-Helix Universe. They are almost always Lifegiver planes, in the sense that their planar Quintessence has a particularly high capacity for healing, growth and fecundity. This type of Quintessence is often called Anima, and is opposed by Mordia, which governs stagnancy and undeath among other things.

Examples

A plane in the Greater Eridún Crux Region—likely Eridún itself—is considered the genesis plane of all Meranthic (human-elven) life in the universe, as the earliest archaeological signs of Meranthic civilization can be found there.

Based on frequency-distribution studies, the original elves (Ur-Mera) are thought by Daybreak Empire scholars to originate in the Adaephite Eighth, possibly Tassalit. There are several strong candidates for the cradle of humanity (Ur-Anthra), generally in the Arborian Eigth.
