A place for organizing all parts of rebuilding the town. From laborers to architects, masons to painters, carpenters to drafters, all sorts of people are found here, along with the tools and materials of their trade. With some good organisation at the head, the town will come together faster and cheaper. When you build or upgrade the construction yard, the building itself is renovated and improved. But the real benefit comes from the people and the tools. More skills being taught, better support and pay for builders and more experts hired from the mainland help the people, while improvements to the scaffolding, mortar, joists and detailing that go into any building project speeds up the job considerably. The construction yard does not discount its own upgrades.

The construction yard requires particular supplies of resources in order to function at higher ranks. Places such as quarries, lumber yards, mines, or the like can be founded through the Headquarters once a suitable location is discovered in the world, typically providing 500gp of resources once per in-game month.
