Drow Totems / Qaltiar

A set of loose drow traditions sometimes called the Qaltiar, common in the cultures of the Xen'drik elves.
Dominated by The Vulkoori, the Qaltiar are totem deities, linked to an animal symbol.
Little is known of them by the people of Khorvaire, but what is known:

• Vulkoor is the Scorpion and the Hunter, promising protection, strength and victory, the Vulkoori encouraging the use of stealth, subterfuge and decisive action. They have been somewhat hostile, but after diplomatic action to their elders and champions such as Telrentath, they are now mostly allies.
• Iltan is the Shifting Panther, promising individuality, freedom and passion, the Iltani encouraging art, fair revenge and the following of impulse; Itlani such as Trista and Donallan have been friends to the town.
• Kinaar is the Vulture, promising knowledge, tradition and protection from loss; the Kinaari inhabit the Barrier Island and the town of Landing.
• Ruvern is the Wolf, promising change, motion and creation, but they seem to have been mostly lost. Gives favour to Shivaren Marilandar

It has been noted by Voroc De'nar and clerical scholars that the drow totems share much in common with some of The Dark Six - Vulkoor with the Mockery, Iltan with the Fury, Kinaar with the Keeper, and Ruvern with the Traveler.
