House Ivanov

The Rurikid Empire has been ruled by the House of Ivanov for 323 years, and is currently ruled by His Imperial Emperor Dmitri IV of House Ivanov.
When the House of Ivanov first took control over the Rurikid Empire, Dominik II of House Ivanov ruled for only two years before being assassinated and succeeded by Dominik III. Since the death of Dominik II, the Rurikid Empire has stayed under the control of the Ivanov Family and has expanded into controlling the entire continent.

History

The founder of the the dynasty, Rurik, started life as a mere mercenary. By strength of his arm, he united the human tribes around what is now Ruriksted, and laid the first stones of Fort Dominik. From the Fort, Rurik and his descendant's conquered and united the remaining humans before looking outward.
