THE SOULMONGER IS ACTIVATED WHICH STARTS THE DEATH CURSE ON TORIL
Plague / EpidemicThe Soulmonger is activated on this day which begins Acererak's death curse upon Toril and, seemingly, all of Realmspace. The Soulmonger is trapping the souls of the dead and draining life from all who have been raised from death by magic. This system-wide “death curse” not only prevents the raising of the dead but also causes creatures previously raised from the dead to wither and die. It seems those who enter Realmspace are immediately affected by the death curse. -
