Gnome

Gnomes hold a solid niche in Winderia. Much like dwarves, they most often serve as merchants and craftsmen, though they have not proliferated across the peninsula like the dwarves.
As expected, Forest Gnomes are often found in the High Forest. They hold places in the courts of the forest cities, serve as craftsmen to best survive the wild environment, and spy on the more dangerous creatures out of curiosity. A large number of forest gnomes have migrated to Tiilos, as their natural predilection for illusion draws them to that city. In Tiilos, they serve in any capacity.
Rock Gnomes trace their earliest origins to either mountain range, but many families have spread across the southern region. Their ingenuity makes them useful in all walks of life. A large number have become merchants, while others with a more public service orientation channel their creativity into government work, such as new equipment for the military or creative methods to deliver goods to the citizens.
