Salvation
This artifact was crafted to defend the High Priestess of Mystra from the dangers of the world. It appears to be made of mithral. The symbol of Mystra is emblazoned on the shield in platinum with an inlay of a metal that appears to be gold, but in all likelihood originates from another plane. Perhaps other than Mystra herself, no one knows who crafted Salvation or delivered it to the first High Priestess.
Only a 20th-level cleric devoted to Mystra may attempt to attune with this shield. This can only occur after they have gained the approval of Mystra as the next High Priestess and wielder of Salvation, typically by completing a grand quest on her behalf. This shield significantly increases the wielder's defensive capabilities and divine magical prowess. However, the wielder cannot stray too far from the shield or suffer severe consequences.
Once a creature attunes to Salvation, the attunement cannot be broken unless the wielder dies or the shield is destroyed.
