The Garden Of Eden

Hidden away from prying eyes, a land that once belonged to the Nephilim lies. This is the Garden of Eden, and at one point in time, it was considered the holy ground that life originated from. The Garden of Eden has existed since the dawn of Earth, and it is where the Nephilim lived on before spreading across Earth. The Garden of Eden's landmass not only floats above that of Earth, but that of the other realms as well-- being a centralized, fixed location. Alongside that, oftentimes various parts of the Garden of Eden will manifest in other realms.

Af of The Withering, the Garden of Eden is observed to have begun growing in mass and size, with the plant-life on it beginning to grow out of control.

Geography

The Garden of Eden, floating high in the sky, has a wide variety of landmasses on them. From rolling mountains to the high, high mountains on one side of it, to the massive lake in the center of it and the rivers extending out from the center, the geography remains rather varied. Throughout the garden, there are various towering Edenite, glowing with heavy amounts of Mana. Any attempt at removing these Edenite crystals are met with failure.

Ecosystem

The Garden of Eden has a lush, varied ecosystem, consisting of various plants from not just Earth and the other realms all living in harmony, but of organisms that were considered to be extinct. This includes the St. Helena Olive, Franklin Trees, and the Coffea lemblinii. All of the vines and wood of these plants and trees all have trace amounts of Mana in them, which allows for an extended lifespan and less of an need for sunlight and water.

It's been observed on the Garden of Eden that the plant-life is alive. Any attempts at removing the plant-life only results in the plants becoming hostile, striking back at the machinery being used or any tools. Ancient texts found within one of the few structures on the Garden of Eden suggest that this is the garden's defense mechanism for when it feels that it is in danger. Thanks to The Withering, however, this plant life has begun to not only grow wildly, but also become hostile to all forms of sapience.

Localized Phenomena

An oddity of the Garden of Eden is that, despite being in all realms at once, the only type of weather one will ever see on it is rain. No Purple Hazes, no Inverse Rains, nothing. It has a normal day and night cycle, with the sky seemingly remaining blue on this realm.

Of particular note with the Garden of Eden though, is that due to it's mass, it can have an effect on the world beneath it. Areas that the Garden floats over becomes shrouded in darkness, sometimes for a day, oftentimes for a week.

History

According to the ancient text that has been found within the Garden, it was created by a being known as The Holy as a paradise for it's creations, the Nephilim. With the first two being Adam and Eve, they lived on this island in peace, with The Holy making more and more individuals to live on this island, before eventually their children went down to the surface below and lived on Earth.

However, this island would become locked away by The Holy at the start of the 10,000 Days, when the Apple Of Eden was stolen. The Holy's magic effectively brought the island into an invisible fold in space and time, becoming locked to a one-dimensional point that no one could observe or come to. Although it intended to bring the island back soon after, The Holy was consumed by the darkness that engulfed the void between realms, making it unable to do so.

It wouldn't be until around 2025 when the Garden of Eden was discovered by complete accident, thanks to an experiment done by FENRIR with realm travel technology. The machinery they had used locked onto the island after a powerful electrical surge occured. A portal was opened, and in that instant, the Garden of Eden broke out of it's fold. Exploration of the Garden of Eden was impossible initially, as the plant life was hostile to all those that would come onto the realm. Eventually, after much trial and error, people had begun to explore the Garden.

Thanks to The Withering, it has become dangerous once again to enter the Garden. All of the plant life is now hostile to everything around it, with any individuals whom were residing on the island becoming ripped to shreds by the vicious plants. Alongside that, reports have shown that the Garden is beginning to expand in mass, the mountains on it getting taller and the sides of the island jutting out further and further.
