Celestial / Cosmic
The death of a god creates a massive chasm in the world and births lesser evils to rain havoc on the world of mortals.
Lyonus and Maelah begin to take notice of Lusmir’s actions taking effect in the world: the Fey begin to bicker and spread lies and rumors amongst each other, while the mortals fall victim to sickness and hunger amidst their lands. Lyonus seeks out and confronts his brother, but Lusmir is too long lost to his growing wretchedness. Words are lost and armaments taken up as the brothers fight each other, knowing fully well, only one will survive. However, cut from the same banner, the twins are too evenly matched. Wherever Lusmir’s vicious whip would lash, Lyonus’ mighty scepter was there to catch it. Soon, the brothers found themselves locked in a never-ending battle of celestial gods. And finally, in what seemed an act of concession, Lusmir held high his hands and stepped backward. Lyonus stood erect and lowered his weapons, pleased to be finished with their fighting. Lusmir’s wrist flicked and a golden dagger appeared in his hand. He drove down with the jagged dagger and plunged its blade into his own side. He stared into Lyonus’ eyes as he turned the knife and pulled it across his belly, spilling his blood and entrails on the ground before Lyonus. Lusmir fell dead and the earth shook violently and tore itself open to create what mortals today call Lathas’ Scar.
