Guilds and Factions

The following guilds and factions are in Hillderan: The Authors of Iron and Enchantorium. The Authors of Iron are the main blacksmithing, tinkering, and organization. They are also responsible for powdering materials for other means. The Enchantorium takes items crafted by artisans and uses powderize materials such as Pavian Black Powder and Cobalt Residuum in enchanting magical items.

History

Hillderan is a massive trading settlement of powderize materials. There are two specialties that Hillderan produces. They produce Pavian Black Powder and Cobalt Residuum. Not only are the Gnomes here experts with powderize goods they also process various tinkering goods.

Pavian Black Powder

The Gnomes of Hillderan discovered how to harvest Pavian Black Powder after a strange encounter with a Giff General and his wandering lieutenants. They were on a mission to find black powder to restock their ammunition. However, these mysterious-looking creatures also taught the Gnomes how to build and manufacture alien technology. Nowadays, it's hard to tell if this was truth or legend among the Gnomes of Hillderan. Now the only giff around is the one running The Fox's Armaments.

Cobalt Residuum

The Gnomes of Hillderan discovered how powderize at an early part of the establishment of this settlement. They have allowed scholars to research their old mines and powderize shops. Cobalt Residuum is a trade item that arcane users highly seek. Unlike Pavian Black Powder, it has multiple implications. Fox has been learning how to merge both Pavian Black Powder and Cobalt Residuum to create interesting armaments.
