Birchbeck River
The Birchbeck River is southernmost of the three great Wealding rivers. It has its source in the Skyeridge Mountains in the southeast of the continent, flowing past the city of Suttleaf. It then meanders its way through The Great Fens on its way East until it empties into the sea at the city of Helmharbor. The land of the Great Fens is so shallow that the backs of the birchbeck are constantly splitting and shifting. No one has ever managed to completely map that portion of the river, although the fen folk can navigate it through methods known only to themselves.
