The south of Xenethia was a wild, untamed land. But when humans arrived en masse around 300 years ago, a unique society began to build up its own culture and traditions in the south. Over time, these settlers evolved into the mighty Kingdom of Aspana - the largest and oldest established country on Xenethia.
The worship of the god Torm is a prevalent and important aspect of daily life. Known as the Loyal Fury, Torm is revered as the patron of duty, loyalty, and righteousness. Many citizens of Aspana pray to Torm for guidance and strength in their daily lives, and many warriors and knights pledge their loyalty to Torm, taking up his banner in battle. The temples of Torm are grand and imposing structures, adorned with images of the god and his champions. The high priests of Torm are respected and influential figures, often consulted by the kingdom's rulers in matters of justice and law. The worship of Torm is just another way that Aspana reflects its core values of duty, loyalty, and righteousness.
With borders that stretch along the Great Sea to the south and most of its land mass made up of sprawling islands, Aspana is a sight to behold. As for neighbours, to the west lies the fearsome Abrana, while to the north is the primitive Scalia. But it is to the east, within the
Kindred Domain, where the greatest mystery of all lies.
Despite its power and influence, Aspana could never uncover the secrets of the
Kindred Domain. The Global Research Unit tried to enter the mystical land but failed - none of the researchers ever returned. To this day, the
Kindred Domain remains a dark and mysterious force in the region.
Still, Aspana is not one to be deterred. Over the years, it has become a beacon of progress and knowledge. The Global Research Unit was established to explore and document the wonders of Xenethia. And the kingdom's explorers ventured forth into uncharted territories, uncovering new lands and species, and bringing back valuable knowledge and resources to Aspana.
As Aspana grew and prospered, it attracted migrants from far and wide, leading to a mixing of races and cultures that enriched the kingdom even more. Arcane knowledge and culture spread throughout the land, giving birth to new traditions and practices that would come to define Aspana for centuries to come.
By the year 80, the Kingdom of Aspana had become a true leader in the region, and it hosted the Summit of the Kingdoms - a grand assembly aimed at officially creating a just international structure for the continent. Borders were constructed based on natural obstacles, and leaders and trading partners were appointed based on the most influential and intelligent inhabitants of each area.
Today, Aspana remains a shining example of progress, knowledge, and unity. Its rich history, diverse culture, and breathtaking scenery are unmatched, and it stands as a testament to the resilience and ingenuity of the human spirit.
