HISTORY

By year 2313, most Tersi were located in the old country of Ter, what is modern day Tersus.On xxx, CA forces from the Comine Republic, T’ah, and Mira regions began an invasion with the intent to wipe out the Tersi population and expand their respective territories in what is now referred to as the Tersi Massacre*.
The Tersi fought hard, but after weeks of repeated assaults, their numbers were decimated. It is estimated The Decimation killed 99% of the population and 98% of the Tersi population in general. Some land was overtaken, but the opposing forces had also taken a considerable hit to their numbers, and so cut their losses and retreated.
For the Tersi, the effects of this slaying would have a profound impact on future generations; with their numbers nearing extinction, the Tersi population began to lose its genetic diversity due to inbreeding. Since Tersi, along with other races, weren’t very widespread, outcrossing wasn’t as possible. As well, there was still a lot of distrust and hostility towards CAs that made Tersi reluctant to interact with them (let alone partner with them). Health issues, mainly neurosis, began to occur at a greater rate than normal.
Population Rebound (2790*)
With the invention of the (tbn), the predecessor to the modern day carriage, robots were able to spread further out and expand. While there was still some distrust, they were beginning to outcross more with CAs, and the Tersi population was beginning to recover.BIOLOGY
Like CAs and Apturas, Tersi have a life expectancy of 125-150 (Xon) years, though due to health issues, Tersi tend to on average live closer to 110-140 years.Tersi are known for having a higher incidence of neurotic behaviour in some regions, namely anxiety, psychosis, and neurosis, as well as conditions like White Eye and other health problems.
Anatomy
Tersi on average stand 5’6” - 6’6” tall (tba)Square/rectangular heads with a rounded back. Rounder chest compared to CAs. Tersi are the only race that lack abdominal spines in either sex; their abdomen is a smooth material that connects their chest and pelvis. All eye colours except black. White, grey, or black casing. Optic based eye.
Tersi are known for having a 'weak spot' near the chest. Because their abdomen is smooth and lacking spines, there's a soft spot right at the base of the highest point of the chest. This spot makes it easy for someone to get under their chest and impale their core (and many Tersi robots have died this way). CAs, Apturas, and Dismantlers have their core much better protected by their chest all around.

CULTURE & RANGE
Main Article: TersusBeing so widespread, a Tersi’s culture varies. However they can trace their lineage to the region of Tersus and surrounding areas.
RELATIONS
In general, Tersi are viewed favourably, though they are sometimes considered ‘soft' or 'frail', mainly in reference to their weak spot near their chest (see Anatomy). In some regions they may be stereotyped as being unfaithful, promiscuous, or prone to infidelity, due to Tersus' practice of polygyny.
At best they are admired for their resilience, ability to adapt, and pursuit of achievements. At worst, they are viewed as crazy, mentally unstable (even dangerous), inbred, promiscuous, incestuous, sickly, and weak.
