Qualifications

Iron-Smiths are important in Vik society. It takes a strong hand and many years of experience to perfect the trade. Most start as apprentices under an experienced Iron-Smith. To begin as a Iron-Smith you need to find a craftier in that trade and spend a certain amount of time and currency.   Level 1:
  • Time: 24 hr Currency: 100 gp
Level 2:
  • Time: 48 hr Currency: 300 gp
Level 3:
  • Time: 72 hr Currency: 500 gp

Career Progression

Level 1:   Craft:
  • Can smelt level 1 ore into ingots
  • Can craft level 1 items
  • Can add one level 1 gem into item when crafting

  • Can smelt level 2 ore into ingots
  • can craft level 2 items
  • can add one level 1 or 2 gem into item when crafting

  • can craft level 3 items
  • can add one level 1, 2, or 3 gem into item when crafting
  • can add one dragon scale to a piece of armor

  • You can craft items using Smith’s Tools
  • Your knowledge of weapons allows you to see their weaknesses. As a bonus action you make a smith's tools check to learn about the construction of a non-magic item. You can then make an attack to attempt to destroy the item.
