Red lyrium is typically found in crystalline form, as with normal lyrium. Unlike normal lyrium, red lyrium glows with a dim red instead of blue.
Physical & Chemical Properties
Lyrium is extremely volatile and sometimes explodes for no reason. Physical contact with Raw Red Lyrium ore will cause serious injury and psychological damage. Some scholars believe that lyrium is alive. Red lyrium is a more potent form of Raw Lyrium
Geology & Geography
Raw Lyrium can be found in deep caverns, although it is rarely found. Red lyrium is even harder to find.
History & Usage
History
The presence of Raw Lyrium is a bad omen. Legend stats that its appearance means a death without honor is near. They say that it is the goddess Hel reaching out to try to escape her prison and free her brothers Fenrir and the World Serpent, bringing upon Ragnarök.
