Summer Camp 2023 Review
In Conclusion...
Best Summer Camp yet. Hands down. The first year was a great introduction into the community and challenges. I had only participated in the Costume Challenge before that, but Summer Camp was the first time I truly felt part of the community, hence why I am so nostalgic for it now. My second Summer Camp, in 2022, was amazing too. It was the first time I ever won a prompt, or really anything to do with writing, and it felt good. (Praying I wasn't a random pull, but if I don't ever find out I can stay proud of myself).
This year was different. Everyone was so incredibly excited, which I think is because of our severe lack of proper competitions thus far this year - a grand total of none. People were desperate to go and write, and so was I, but when does that ever change. As well, this was the first year I wasn't pressuring myself into writing a RIDICULOUS goal like triple diamond. Thank god I decided not to when we ended up with 42 prompts.
I produced articles I am genuinely so proud of - one of which even made it onto the "Featured Articles" list on my world's homepage. I only wrote two articles I'm not happy with, both of which I am immediately going to tear them apart and write something new after the Award's Ceremony.
Love the whiteboard! That's a good idea!
Thank you! Polygons took effort, especially since it was the first time using them xD
