Session 42: The Caves of Haruun. Report

General Summary

24th and 25th of Cupid, 500 CD
The companions of Shining Eclipse traveled all of the night of the 23rd and into the morning of the 24th. Taking needed rest break but still felt the effects of exhaustion for being up 24 hour without no sleep. The guides set up tents along with Arceven's tiny hut the party was able to rest without suffering any more exhaustion. The companions in the middle of their rest period on the third shift were attacked by three wondering Cyclops who were out looking for food. As the conflict ensued the companions managed to kill two of the three while the last one ran away realizing that this food was not worth losing his life over. Once rested the companions continued on and into the night and morning of the 25th arriving at their destination the caves of Haruun. They discovered the habitation of a purple worm who seems to have made its home at the cave. As the party the party approached the cave they could feel the vibrations of the worm moving about looking for its next meal. Marik then found a opening near the top of the on of the 15 foot tunnels holes bored by the creature. As he attempted to clime the tunnel he was successful reaching the top of the tunnel but on his way down fighter causing a rock to come loose and hit the deck below and the very hungry worm emerged ready for its next meal.
