Eoten

Anatomy

Eoten are bipedal, and have two arms that reach to mid-thigh when at the side. Each arm ends in one hand that has five fingers. They are typically very strong and have very good endurance.

Genetics and Reproduction

Eoten reproduce sexually, and are viviparous. The gestation period is twelve months. Eoten are genetically similar enough to humans to reproduce with them. It is generally believed that eoten were originally very similar to humans, and the eoten we know today are the result of natural evolution.

Eoten are quite adaptable, and can survive in a variety of environments.

Because of the New Abrizan Empire's destruction of most historical records, not much is known about eoten tribal cultures.

History

Eoten were native to Zelunica when the Zelunii arrived. At the time, they lived in many separate tribes across Zelunica. When the Zelunii arrived, some tribes declared war on them, some initiated trade, and a few integrated themselves into Zelunii society. Over time, the Zelunii absorbed more and more tribes, some through treaties and some through war, until almost all eoten were part of the Empire.
During the time of the New Abrizan Empire, most eoten were woodcutters and carpenters. They typically lived alongside humans, and this tendency persists today.
