Goblins

A vile scourge upon our lands, goblins are crafty cretins that roam in bands and prey on travellers and isolated communities.
No one knows quite how many there are but they inhabit every corner of the known world, even being found in the deepest caverns and highest peaks.
What makes them dangerous is their cunning, despite being far less intelligent than any major sentient species they have a propensity for cruel traps, ambushes and scheming to get a leg up on their opponents.
Often they are used by other races such as Orcs and Hobgoblins as expendable troops and scouts.
