Change is coming on the wind in The Dragon Empire. It smells of sulfur and ash. It shakes with an empire's foundations. It rises like a long-slumbering pantheon ready to find glory in the mortal plane once more. There is no doubt that the 14th Age is on the horizon, and the stage is being carefully set. Heroes must rise to the challenge and icons must fall while the tides of change erode the Empire into a new shape.
But life continues, stubborn and in many ways indifferent, as it always does. Simpler matters of coin and food still hang close to those making their living on the icons' game board.
