Session VI: Lords of the Radiant Coast, Part II Report

General Summary

After managing to banish the air elementals, Dim, Dark, Hazy, & Associates continue on to Amnethyr, landing not far outside the city.  An elf comes to greet them, and they present the items that Lord Cornwallis had given them. He takes them into the "Antechamber", which is a garden near the "gates" of the city, which also turn out to be an illusion. After discussing their plans to speak with Lord Tesar, the elf goes off to request the audience for the party. Another elf returns eventually, (after some back and forth with the first elf) and says they can speak with him instead, being an aide of the Lord. When the party states they would like to speak with the Lord directly, he suggests a gift or service and delivers the gifts they offer to the Lord, but he still refuses to join them.  Omepheus and Gaea's Imp do some scouting and discover where the house the aide keeps going to is. Omepheous and the imp discover where the sword is hidden, and steal it, leaving a note alluding to the fact that a fiend stole it.  Eventually, they come face to face with the Lord, accusing him of stealing the sword, and he admits it to them privately, but when they mention that it has again been stolen from him, he accuses them of stealing in turn, and arrests them, sending a group of investigators to search the ship for evidence.  Meanwhile, Omepheous has escaped capture and the Imp has taken the sword to its home plane for safekeeping.
