The Jade Wilds

The Jade Wilds is a large section of the Omiralon Continent, known for it's vast, diverse, and untamed plant life. It is also home to multiple populations of elves, most prominently the Solihana and Kaihana . Legends shared among these elven populations tell that the Jade Wilds were the home of the first life on Omiralon. There is some discrepancy in the tellings as to which elven race was the initial progenitor of the rest, but most cultures outside the elven sphere hold the Wood Elves to be the first humanoids on the continent.

Geography

Located East of the World Spine Mountains, the Jade wilds vary in ecology stretching from Cloud Forest near the Mountains, to Boreal Forest in the lower regions. Rolling hills are common in the area, but the tree cover masks the undulation if gazing upon the region from the slopes of the World Spine, or from the air. Small streams and rivers wind their way through the region as well, culminating in a large lake near Amnethyr, which the Elves there have dammed and maintain.
