Session 10 - Into the Wilds Report

General Summary

As the party prepared for their trek into the Outer Wilds with Jondam Klefta, the party set about their daily lives. Feyre Blackwood worked at The Liger and the Titanium Peak with Crota Vivax, serving a rowdy group of dwarven miners from the Dust District. Dac Earreac refined his visor to improve his aim when out in the wilds. Winnow Olafson met with her aunt - Agathe Fentheana, concealing she would be leaving on a trip. She also spent some time learning more about her changeling nature. Rayla Moonshadow bid farewell to her husband - Bramble Lightfeather and greeted Darla Daleclover who was busy planning the upcoming Fey Solstice Festival in Hollow.

The group agreed to meet at Winnow's apartment. Dac arrived first, finding Moxie instead of Winnow. While they waited for the others, it soon became apparent they weren't alone. Nutsy, a cleric of Naltyr has come do give Dac a blessing, hearing of Dac's eventual trek into the wilds. He bestowed this blessing, but not before being spotted by Moxie. This turned bad when Moxie noticed Nutsy eating some of her cake. After being talked down by Rayla Moonshadow, Nutsy confessed why he was there and comitted to joining Dac and the group to he could make ammends with the Whisperwind his failure.

The made for Fairwind Skyport to meet Jondam and he escorted them onto his skyship -- the Golden Rule. After giving them a quick rundown on the ship, they left under the cover of night.

Clear skies belied the alien, miasma laden landscape beyond Novus. Jondam carefully navigated the vessel towards his old vessel, speaking with Moxie about his faith in Mazarathes.

All went well until the crew ran afoul of a massive thunderhead like cloud of miasma and encountered a massive dragonfly like creature that seemed to be afflicted by miasma.

The crew braced for combat.
