Session 2: The Hunt is on Report

General Summary

The party awoke to a diseased Ashley Benatar who was promptly diagnosed by Bharash Marux and cured by Sprig Silvertoung of the Blight affecting them. They them followed a rotting stench and evidence of the creature to a clearing.   Despite Drostre Bassast going down twice in the fight the party took the Troll out and Sprig Silvertoung collected evidence of the bounty. Noticing that the Troll was heading somewhere as it tried to run the party discovered the half sunken ruins of the Abandoned Temple to the Five.   After spending some time exploring the main chamber with Alecto Ocreata stealing a piece of a carving, the party set out to solve a puzzle to open the adjoining rooms. In the end they deciphered the old dialect and uncovered the elements of the chant. Sprig Silvertoung read them aloud on the central point loosing touch with their, albeit limited, senses one by one until they opened the doors.   One by one they uncovered the depictions of The Five in each room and an object seemingly left as offerings to them, or perhaps abandoned accidentally along with the temple. Sprig Silvertoung regained a sense in each room they entered.     The party split up the items and attuned them before resting in the temple for the night. In the morning as they set out to leave a storm rolled in and yet again Drostre Bassast was struck by lightning, along with Sprig Silvertoung and Alecto Ocreata. They did not loose any time in this storm though, learning from their navigational mistakes.   The rest of the travel passed smoothly up until the final day, approaching town, when an unknown entity stole 25GP from Alecto Ocreata's coin purse. The party have now returned to town, ready to stay together for another adventure.

The party has slain the Rot Troll they were sent out to hunt down and are in the process of going to collect their 6000GP reward.
