Appearance
Physical Description
An average-length High Elf with yellow-brown skin.
Body Features
Little, but very dark body hair, mostly noticeable on his arms and legs.
Facial Features
Skyblue eyes that glow slightly, like all High Elfs.
Pointy ears, which are shorter than most Elven ears.
Mid-long black hair tied in a clean ponytail.
No facial hair.
Identifying Characteristics
His shorter-than-average Elvish ears, his particular excitement for all knowledge he has not heard of before and encyclopedia containing plants, monsters and alchemy.
Physical quirks
He has a small scar on his right foot, where he has cut off a part of "wild flesh" that caused some standardised shoes to not fit him. It was removed cleanly, leaving only a small eye-shaped scar.
Apparel & Accessories
He wears a brown leather vest which can double as a chest-only leather armour, and a jute shirt and pants normally.
He can easily put his leather armour over it by putting on his leather bracers, shoulder guards, shin guards, crotch armour and thigh armour.
Over his leather vest he wears an Alchemist's bandolier, with each pocket being very secure, to the point that he can lock them with small locks.
Along with his Bandolier he wears a leather belt, not to hold his pants up but to keep a lot of items easily accessible, like for example, his Shortsword, quiver and Light Crossbow in combat along with his Reagent's Pouch.
Hanging from his belt is usually a notebook and a pencil or quill or charcoal to take notes or make sketches.

Personal history
Eol has always been a curious elf from a young age, dragging books from all shelves he could read to learn more. When he wasn't found in the libraries, tending to the herbs in the store or helping his parents in their Alchemy Shop, he could be found exploring nearby caverns with bats in them or walking through the vast forests, picking mushrooms, leaves, herbs and flowers and the likes to put in his small bag and mix at home like a primitive, experimental form of alchemy under the supervision of his parents until he reached maturity.
Every time a travelling merchant, druid, wizard or craftsman would come through his village Eol would make time to go see them work if he could. One day he decided to leave Zoutern with one such craftsman who was part of the Imperial Adventurer's guild's crafting guild. Eol had to prove his skills and wits to the guild to be allowed to enrol into the learning process, he managed to succeed due to all the books he had read and the natural dexterity that came from being an elf.
Soon he was being tutored by all kinds of artisans and magic users, both Arcane and Divine. His favourite teachers were Ernest Hukirt and his wife Adina, both Artificers, and Avae Neritris, a Wizard.
Ernest and Adina, taught large groups of people at once, gatherings of hundreds came as they explained, and sometimes demonstrated the likenesses and differences between the schools of the Artificer, he met Yekas Wrepipson in one of these classes.
Avae Neritris was a more specialised teacher, she taught far smaller groups her specialties. She taught Magical Alchemy and Divination Wizardry, this is where he met Nepher Borwald. She helped Eol, and encouraged him to use his alchemical knowledge in conjunction with his magic to create new experimental things. He really looks up to her, once he created his first one, Healing Draught, she told him to go explore the land for more inspiration and return to her once he had learned more.
To further his studies in the way suggested he set out along with Nepher to the Arcane City, once there they split up for a while as Nepher went to study formally once more and Eol decided to keep travelling. Back in the Empire’s vast woodlands he met a wooden warforged, Cairn Verris, he ran into him by chance as they were both harvesting some Healleaf. They clicked and they became friends, travelling with each other for a while. In this short period Eol was taught a lot by Cairn about nature and how to best harvest plants without damaging them, how to get the most out of the few leaves you could harvest without damaging the plant and so forth.
Once Eol had taught himself a few more Alchemical Reactions from his travels, he went back to the Guild to formally finalise his studies. Originally he had meant to go back home and work in the store of his parents, but his studies and travels had given him a wanderlust and a desire to see more of the Magical Items he had learned about wherever he went.
During his travels he had learned how to read and write maps quite early on, having a particular fascination with treasure maps and imagining the treasures buried where the “X” marks the spot. He also learned how to navigate ships from the Guild, as Spelljammers required Navigation and it was invaluable as a member of the Guild to know this skill.
Eol has recently been requested by the Guild to go to Braust, a large military outpost as he managed to fit the issued request from a Viceroy for an adventurer from the Imperial Adventurer's Guild. As compensation by the guild for having been selected he doesn't have to pay the Guild Membership for a year. Thus he has been sent out to the city of Braust.
One of Eol‘s most recent discoveries was that the potency of a satchel of gunpowder lit ablaze can be reconstructed using some ingredients he has in his satchel, thus he is able to recreate it whenever he desires.
Education
Trained by the Imperial Adventurer's Guild in the ways of the Potionsmith Artificer and Alchemy.
He has formal education in Artificer magic, magical items, alchemy and herbalism.
Employment
He is an Imperial Adventurers Guild Adventurer, he is also capable of setting up shop as a Guild Herborist or a Guild Alchemist should he decide he would like to do so. Or simply work in the shop his parents have in Zoutern.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Succeeding above average in most of his courses, and having found a small cave near the town of Zoutern.
Having fought the Mysterious Obelisk with his party and won.
Failures & Embarrassments
The small cave he had found near his hometown of Zoutern was found by someone else as well and they had seen Eol's primitive hideout he had made there and Eol had been made fun of for that reason.
Mental Trauma
Due to the exhaustive training and exams he had to take whilst learning under the Adventurers Guild, he has developed a light trauma for the words "exams" and "deadlines". Hearing these words immediately puts him on alert, almost to the point his neck hairs raise up.
When he was younger, in the cave he had found and made a sort of primitive hideout of, he had fallen into a thin gap, he wasn't able to climb out of it at first. And nobody knew where he was, he had to climb out there himself. When he is in caves, he will always check to make sure he has rope, check for traps and make sure someone he trusts knows where he went.
Fears:
-Being kicked out of the guild,
-Finding out his discovery of the "instantaneous reaction" is useless even in combat.
-Being somehow incapacitated in a way that makes it impossible for him to further pursue to knowledge he wants to explore.
Intellectual Characteristics
Exceptional in Herbology, Monstrology and Alchemy. He has invented a new form of Alchemical warfare, instead of the typically slow reactions, these can be created instantaneously and at a short distance away.
He was however not the first or only one to discover this form of Alchemy, but he has learned it all by himself.
He tends to think in long lines of thoughts, one question provoking another and another and so on. With each answered question, calling for even more questions.
As for potion creation and the likes he tries to be creative and inventive, trying to explore new ways of thought to see if new combinations yield new or improved results.
Morality & Philosophy
Everyone should be free to pursue his or her own livelihood.
I owe my guild a great amount of gratitude for letting me have learned what I have. Proud of the guild.
I will first try a friendly approach to people that seem friendly enough, I expect to be treated with the same courtesy.
I do my best to keep in touch with friends.
person.sexuality
He is straight.
person.gender_identity
Male.
Taboos
Not sharing knowledge that might be helpful later on, or knowledge that might be helpful understanding events that have already happened.

Alchemists, Wizards, Herbologists, Druids and Artificers from the Adventurers guild:
Cairn Verris, his Druidic friend, taught him a few interesting things about Alchemy when they travelled together. A famed Druid, and a rather old Warforged, well over five centuries old, and made completely out of all manners of wood.
Avae Neritris, his main teacher. She taught him the ropes of Artificery and got encouraged him to become a Potionsmith and told him to travel a few years before coming back to the guild to learn more of the land. She is an Eladrin Wizard.
Ernest Hukirt, his Artificer teacher, one of the Guild's Teachers. He taught large groups of students at once, he is a Centaur with a fully functioning mechanical/clockwork arm. A renown Golemsmith, who has been rumoured to possess Fleshsmith abilities as well, he is married to a Warsmith Dryad Adina Hukirt, she adopted his last name.
Nepher Borwald, a Ghostwise Halfling and a fast friend of Eol. He and Eol met at the Adventurers Guild, Nepher studied to become a Universalist Wizard to become an enchanter. Since the two shared a deep common interest in magical items the two are good friends and they try to keep contact. Nepher is currently also travelling, but has a home in the Arcane City. He is currently the Head Librarian of the Arcane City's Librarium Principalis and is a known Enchanter.
Yekas Wrepipson, a Rock Gnome who is a Gadgetsmith, he and Eol are friends and in the broadest terms Rivals, though completely different in their fields of Magic, they like to compare inventions from time to time and exchange notes.

Religious Views
He prays to the Empire's god of crafting Praxis. Praxis has so far not granted him a boon, but Eol has had no reason to denounce believes either.
He will not judge others for who they pray to, but he does know all the Gods' names and their usual depictions, but he has not read many of their stories unless they were tied to the origins of what he learned.
