Canthenth was a powerful white dragon released when the slumbering dragon first woke. It is currently a polymorphed simulacrum of Remington.
The White Dragon in Outding Refuge that was attacking ships and keeping the island in a winter season for a year.
Since then the Menagerie has learned that this white dragon seems to have died long ago. After the earth opened and almost cracked with the slumbering dragon awakening there was a major release of dragons, including his heralds that went and sought to kill heroes, gods, and destroy those things of power such as the Arcane Forges which could stop the Dragon That Slumbers from waking up.
It seems that when Canthenth was killed then a dragon was sent to replace him, a Simulacrum of a Bronze Dragon named Remington.
It was that simulacrum that went a bit insane from the device used by Jacoby Drexelhand and Gruzzussk D'Achtend. The Unfortunate Mead Heroes are trying to find out what Jacoby did as it seems there may be issues with the simulacrum...
