Reserved and sheltered, Sei's view of the world has always been optimistic. Gullible and a bit naive. Her spirit companion guides her.

From a young age, Sei has talked to herself. Quiet, secretive mumbling under her breath. In her 12th year, she awoke wracked by visions of memories that were not hers. Pain, death, danger. Afraid of her visions, Sei believed her inner friend was warning her that death and danger followed her. To protect her family, she stole herself away from home to seek spiritual guidance.
 
Sei, believing her visions to be spiritual, sought the help of the nearest spiritual expert she could bring to mind, Izu, priest of Vaayu, who's temple was nearest to Sei's home.
 
Izu secreted Sei away for a time, warning her that should she be discovered she would be subjected to tortures beyond her imagination. He assured her of her safety within the walls of the temple as long as she followed the tenants of Vaayu and swore herself a Paladin of its order. Sei began training as a Paladin under Izu's watchful eye.
