We fought oozes, mouthers, shadows, and crabs. The darkness was the worst of the bunch, and we decided to head back to Erta to recuperate before delving further.
As we left, we found an old crown, wooden. Between Tiberius and Curie, with some thinking from Torag, we pulled together that it was dwarven-made, from before Qada and the current kingdom -- back when lizardfolk allied with the dwarves, eons ago.
When we returned, Tiberius consulted the dwarves of Fort Bearly for any knowledge they could give us.
As my fathers
I took time and an old feed shack next to the stables to go through our hunt. There was a lot here -- rust monster antennae, gibbering mouths, black pudding ooze, and powder from the shadows. I worked through it all, and with some inspiration from the Seven, consulted the dwarf Hedge on semiprecious stones: obsidian, brass, and the tin alloy speculum. Verdant too was around, and I asked him about a sturdy, living material for armor.
I ran into Curie, and a question about her tattoos turned into a patterned breastplate with the
rune of dread after her constellar, runic tattoos. She prayed, I noticed, but ultimately was helpful.
