Kiss The Girl

by Amethyst Ume

She saw his eyes drink her in with a fervor of self satisfaction and jealous pride as Ame stepped delicately down the staircase. She held her ball and chain in her hands, allowing easier constricted movement. The drape of her yellow flower silk and white cashmere, free from the filth of captivity won him over, as she was sure it would.

“Thank you for the cream and sugar bath. I feel...cleansed.” Amethyst whispered breathily, coming to stand in front of him. A delicate curtsey set the platinum headpiece twinkling, which only caused him to smiler wider.

“My realm fits you my sweet.” Before she knew it, his pair of perfect pink lips swept over her knuckles and kissed them with a tenderness she only dreamed of.

Pulling his unwilling guest’s arm into the crook of his elbow, the god made a dismissing motion. In a cloud of perfumed smoke, the ankle chain was gone. It made the walk in high heels much easier, but Amethyst did not dare ask him to cast the nullifying cuffs away. It would be fruitless and anger him.

Hiddekul brings her into the ballroom door, magicked into her prison chambers. It opens without a sound. Lined up and down the room were her fellows. A line of scantily clad male and female servers lined each side of the table. Small groups of musicians play and performers dance in tight circles. Miniature stages made as dinner entertainment. Their playing was in sync and sublime. All the sounds seemed to work with, not against, each other.

Oh how easy it would have been to become one of those performers. If it hadn’t been for a simple slip up from the cult leader, she wouldn’t have batted an eyelash being sent to another realm to entertain a god’s whim.

Ame threw her attention to her seat, a posh black velvet chair with a high back. Her companion pulled out the chair and spun her around with an elegance inhumane to anyone used to two feet.

“Sit.”

She sat. And watched him as he made his way to the head of his table. Against her will she admired the way the form fitted shirt and trouser contoured to him.

“Surely you’ll eat something this time my dear.” He waved his hand above the opulent dishes. “I’ll know if you don’t.”

Hiddekul’s deep red eyed glowered as Ame went to lift the bedazzled wine globlet.

“While I am hungry my lord, these chains are difficult to eat with...” Ame brings her lips to the edge of the glass, then hesitates. “Or I may hunger...for something else.”

Lowering her lids provocatively, Ame rests her finger on the closest bowl of dessert. Her fingertip seems to dance with the fluffy cream topping, whipping it around and around until it takes the shape of a sweetened tornado. She brings her finger to her lip, extending her pointed pink tongue to lick the dessert. She hesitates. Instead, her lackadaisical hand springs forward; she brings her arm to sweep the beautiful display of food tumbling to the floor. The cacophony of lovely melodies screeched to a halt as the tumble of goods clatter and shatter.

“I hunger for truth. I’m sick of these little games.” Ame sighs, taking a seat on the now empty table. She looks over at her host, who is holding onto his wineglass so tightly it may splinter at any moment. “Aren’t you my lord?”

Bringing her finger to her brow, she mimics a forester looking into the distance. Her voice, heavy with a sort of mocking lust and longing begins to sing in the frighteningly silent room.

“There you see her
Sitting there across the way
She don't got a lot to say
But there's something about her”

Amethyst pulls her hair out of it’s wrapped style, spilling the softly curls of hair down her shoulders. Her thin tail sweeps up her leg, fluttering the cloth around her thigh.

“And you don't know why
But you're dying to try
You wanna kiss the girl?”

The questioning lift of tone mocks as it allures as Amethyst flips onto to the table onto her stomach. Her skirt goes up past her knees as she hugs her waist as takes a peak at the God.

“Little girl, you do not know what you ask for.” His fury and intrigue appear well matched as his gaze fails to stray from her form for a second. The room empties out in well practiced anticipation.

“Yes, you want her?
Look at her. You know. You do”

The scrape of his chair barely causes a hiccup in her tone as he strides forwards towards her. “Gods have given into much less than this.” Eyes dark and primal. Almost drunk he sways at each step, anticipating. She continues to sing.

“It's possible she wants you too?
There is one way to ask her”

A dark of silver flashes in Ame’s eyes as she breaks eye contact with him. Standing up and turning around so only the backless gauzy fabric faces him. See through and risqué without crossing a line. He loved a well placed line. She knew this as his gaze bore into her frame.

“It don't take a word
Not a single word
Go on and kiss the girl. “

Ame imagines watching as the man of her past dreams and nightmares basically floats his way to her. He rests his hands on her bare thighs as he leans in against her back. Still, she sings.

“Don't stop now
Don't try to hide it how.”

He turns her gently to face him; like a lover on their first night. Amethyst brings her thumb and middle finger to his chin. Catching it as delicately as a butterfly’s wing. Her tail strokes his back and urges him to come closer. She holds him in her hand.

“You wanna kiss the girl.”

Ame brings the sweet finger to Hiddekul’s lips. He gives a Cheshire smile before he laps at the remaining cream from earlier, swirling it around his tongue.

Suddenly his eyes flash with a mix of fury and fear as the potion laced food gets past him and takes effect.

“Ain't that sad?
Ain't it shame? Too bad...“

Amethyst lifts her long leg and pushes away the god with the heel of her foot. He obediently pulls back, stuck gaze eye to eye.

“You gonna miss the girl.“
