Holy Wow

I got past the auditions!! THE Motion is going to be MY mentor! Never in my wildest dreams did I actually expect it to go so well. Like, getting accepted onto the show was one thing but now I'm going to be mentored by a literal star. I was worried that my act would be pretty bad without my stage sword, but my solar weapon turned out to do the job quite nicely, and the black hole really added some fanciness. Maybe I would make a good Solarian after all... but I still need to give this mote back to Onyx as soon as I can, after Star Search though... and we still need to get Jarrs his dirt... eventually though!
 
We managed to get Violet back in one piece, and I'm starting to figure out how driving works. It's scary and dangerous, but if you just hope really hard then everything will make sense. I didn't have much room to be scared though since I'm still riding a pretty good high from my success. Mark was pretty mad that we stole his car, and I did feel pretty bad after he started swimming back to town. All we wanted was to take a few minutes to move Violet around, but noooo Mark the AI thief who hates all machine based life wouldn't let us.
 
I bought him some bullets for his gun, which is apparently really rare, and he started crying. It was really uncomfortable, because I feel for him but also he's really mean to everyone and acts like a weird internet basement person so I also don't feel for him. He needs to lighten up. Like sure we keep doing dangerous things, but dangerous things are actually turbo fun! Being safe would have meant that we would never have found Violet, or rode the Death-Fish, or even gotten onto Star Search!
 
Oh! Shep and Jarrs made a friend and he invited us over, so that's really nice. I also need to help that shop owner to get a passport so he can get to the privileged district!
 
I can't wait to see the Circus again and tell them all about this! They seem worried about me at the moment, but I think that they'll understand when I explain it first-hand.
